Kharazmi computer center was established in 1371 as a subset of college of engineering , shiraz university. At the time when this computer center was born , most of the computer works , were performed on Main frame computers.  Establishment of this computer center provided engineering student with the capability of working on PCs in a Novell Network. All technical affairs at this computer center comprised of hardware and software issues related to both windows and linux networks are accomplished by science BS and MS students of computer science and engineering department .Since fall 1379 , there has been a considerable development in this computer center during recent years. A variety of services are offered to the students of engineering school . List of these services is available at the related pages in this application . Currently , there are almost 200 workstations in this computer center, located in two floors with an area about 700 meter square .
